It is hard to believe that I've been working for almost three months now...1/4 of a year. It scares me how quickly time passes when you spend 8 hours working.
I have finally gotten settled into my apartment. It is nice having a place to land...other than an Extended Stay (which I did for the first month). I miss my roommates really badly, though.
Atlanta is a really fun city. I've gotten to explore and I've met some really cool people. The shopping is amazing, and there are a lot of cute boys. There are some really good, different restaurants here too. We've got lots of options when you girls come visit!
Last night I had a true ATL experience. I pulled into the parking lot of my apartment with a girl named Dani that I've become friends with and there were four police officers with bullet-proof vests on. Two of the police officers had a man down on the grass and were holding guns up to him. Apparently he was wanted for murder in a bordering town. A lady at the apartment across the parking lot from me was helping him hide out. They had been staking out the apartment all day (I noticed the van with the undercover cops earlier when I came home from work). I asked them what was going on and they told me all of this. They also told me everything that I did when I got out of my car after work (kind of creepy). They had been watching me too.
Don't worry though, my apartment complex is nice and I live in a good part of Atlanta. That was just one of those freak things that happens. I guess it comes with living in an apartment.
I ain't skurrred (well, except for last night).
